Educational Work

Adjudication

Educational work is at the heart of Robin Zebaida's musical career, in which he has built up an international following, particularly in the Far East.

Robin Zebaida  has served on the juries of international piano competitions and is in frequent demand for adjudication, masterclasses and lecture recitals. For over a decade he examined extensively in the UK and overseas up to Diploma level for ABRSM, the world's leading provider of graded music exams and assessments. If his voice has a familiar ring, it may be because he also was involved in recording and presenting ABRSM aural training material.

His experience in broadcasting - notably for the BBC World Service - and public speaking, combined with a sparkling yet sympathetic manner, and a gift for communicating with young musicians, make him a popular choice at music festivals.

Robin Zebaida has on several occasions adjudicated for Music for Youth (UK), and the Hong Kong Schools Music and Speech Association, two of the world's largest youth music festivals. In 2009 he was a juror at the Final of the Steinway International Youth Piano Competition and the Jacques Samuel Piano Festival.

More recently, Robin Zebaida has been invited to take part as a juror in the Macau-Asia Pacific Youth Piano Competitions in 2013, 2015 and 2017, and the Hong Kong-Asia Open Piano Competitions in 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. He has also regularly been on the panel of judges since 2013 for:

- HK Youth Barclampory Music Festival

- Asia Pacific Outstanding Youth Piano

  Competition

- Great Melody School Music Festival

- HK International Music Association
